Overseeing your work life doesn't mean you always move with assurance and self-confidence; it means you keep moving, even when you feel shaky and uncertain. At FarringtonDesignGroup we help our staff understand the responsibilities, characteristics, skills and resources necessary to succeed.

Our belief is that all organizations and institutions have career stages. At the outset of this century, Associates in our firm developed a Career Development chart that mapped the various career stages. The following is a synopsis of that chart that helps potential job seekers and our clients’ understand our culture.

Career Stage One / Performing Tasks - Individuals in this career stage are supporting the team by completing tasks.

Career Stage Two / Management of Tasks - Individuals at this level are responsible for efficiently and effectively managing tasks and time while communicating with team members and clients to produce quality work.

Career Stage Three / Management of Self - The individuals at this level are key to the firm’s service delivery. They are accountable for the development of the design and production packages for the firm’s projects. It I the responsibility of these individuals to deliver a product that is above industry standards.

Career Stage Four / Management of Others - Responsible for fostering an enjoyable and collaborative team environment that encourages personal growth and the achievement of goals for both our clients and staff. Accountable for effective management of schedule, budget and resources as they relate to the client, team and project.

Career Stage Five / Management of the Business - Responsible for fostering an enjoyable and collaborative team environment that encourages personal growth and the achievement of goals for both our clients and staff. Accountable for effective management of schedule, budget and resources as they relate to the client, team and project.
